Miniatures in Minutes

as class and lecture requirements.
A combination PowerPoint/trunk show that explores the fun to be had in making
miniature quilts using the Fold and Sew technique.  In addition to displaying dozens of
mini quilts and considering creative ways to display them (wall art? tote bags?
notepads? baskets?), the lecture will also discuss fabric selection.  Given the tiny size
of the patches in a miniature quilt, there are some special considerations to keep in
mind when selecting fabric.  Learn how to make your own fabric choices with
confidence.
Workshops/ Classes
Miniatures in Minutes: Pyramid Triangles
Do you love the look of miniature quilts but think they are too time consuming, too
"fussy" to make, and too unforgiving of minor piecing errors?  Think again!  Learn an
innovative paper-piecing method that allows you to make a miniature quilt in a fraction
of the time it used to take.  The Fold and Sew technique is fast, easy, and precise!
The Fold and Sew technique makes these equilateral triangle quilts a breeze -- even
when the finished foundation is only 7" by 8".  Class will cover all of the Pyramid
Triangle quilt projects.

Miniatures in Minutes: 13-Square
It doesn't get any easier than these pretty little miniatures! Class will cover all  of the
13-Square projects.  The foundations finish at 6 1/2" by 6 1/2".  In addition to the five quilts
shown here, the Valentine Hearts quilt on the
Projects page will also be included.
